I grew up in Skagit Valley,,,,,,Burlington. I remember stories and times about Northern State hospital well. I visited when it was still going strong. Horrible that they shut it down. Governot Spellman did it as I recall. Terrible. I now live in Anacortes and have my own art studio there.
